- Increasing the capacity of oily wastewater treatment unit at wastewater treatment unit and biological treatment system.
- Sorting, collection, recycling and disposal of household & office garbage.
- Project for production of chlrostyle chloride (CAC) based on direct method of acetic acid chlorination.
- Replacement of benzene solvent with toluene in polymerization processes PBR.
- Purchase of control equipments for improved combustion of the Complex torches.
- Execution of naphtha pipeline from Esfahan to Arak.
- Replacement of CFC in cooling & air conditioning systems throughout the Complex.
- General environmental training at all levels in the company, for both the personnel and the contractors.
- Design, construction & installation project for new boiler to provide steam for improved combustion of the main torch in emergency situations.
- Creation of 254 hectares of green space (235 hectares of woods and 19 hectares of flowers, plants & lawns) throughout the Complex.
- Identification & classification of wastes & their proper disposal.
- Destruction of infectious hospital wastes by signing contracts with hospitals having proper furnaces and facilities for this purpose.
- Burning wastes hydrocarbon material in special furnace.
- Landfill design for burying solid wastes.
- Purchase of wastes burning furnace.
- Construction of mud reservoir basin at various spots of wastewater treatment unit.
- Putting into operation the mud absorption system in wastewater treatment unit.
- Construction of complementary tank TK-25 for saving rain water.
- SBR project in wastewater treatment unit for pre-filtering of wastes of ETX/EOEG/EA units.
Occupational Health & Safety Management System:
- Improving safety conditions and method applied for loading of chemical products (product storing).
- Implementation of Hazop studies at all units of the Complex.
- Risk reduction in storing, transport and unloading of ammonia at AC/BC and ethanol amine units.
- Implementation of comprehensive ergonomic and occupational hygiene plan.
- Risk reduction during relief and rescuing operation in the case of personnel injured in closed spaces.
- Risk reduction during relief and rescuing operation in the case of personnel injured at height.
- Examining safety valves in the Complex and preparing an inspection timetable according to result of examination.
- Risk reduction during LPG & C3, C4 unloading process.
- Updating all technical documents and papers of the processing units.
- Risk reduction during filling 1 & 3 butadiene capsules at BD/PBR unit.
- Risk reduction at R-110 A/B/C Ethanol Amine unit.
- Risk reduction when replacing chlor capsules at Et, Cooling unit.
- Risk reduction at R-3008 A/B, R-2008 A/B in AC/BC unit.
