According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department, the award ceremony was held in the presence of Engineer Basaqzadeh, Advisor and Chairman of the Policy Council of the Petrochemical Industry Organizational Excellence Award, members of the Award’s Scientific Committee, Engineer Abbas Karimi, CEO and Board Member of Shazand Petrochemical Company, and a number of the company’s managers.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Engineer Rashidi, Head of Organizational Excellence at Shazand Petrochemical, presented an overview of the company’s participation and evaluation process in the 12th Petrochemical Industry Organizational Excellence Award. He also expressed his appreciation to the evaluation and judging teams, as well as to the CEO for his valuable support and to all company departments for their cooperation throughout the assessment process.

Engineer Abbas Karimi, CEO and Board Member of Shazand Petrochemical Company, thanked the members of the Scientific Committee and the Award Jury and stated:

"Shazand Petrochemical participated in the Petrochemical Industry Organizational Excellence Award for the first time. In my opinion, this award is of great importance because its scientific and technical evaluation process enables companies to assess their organizational position, gain new experience, and identify opportunities to improve and refine their operational processes."

Shazand Petrochemical Is a Great Asset to Iran’s Petrochemical Industry

Engineer Basaqzadeh, Advisor and Chairman of the Policy Council of the Petrochemical Industry Organizational Excellence Award, also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Engineer Karimi, the company’s CEO and Board Member, as well as all managers and employees of Shazand Petrochemical.

Referring to the company's position within Iran's petrochemical industry, he stated:

"Shazand Petrochemical is a great asset to Iran’s petrochemical industry, and many of the industry's chief executives have developed their careers within this company."

He further referred to the company’s products and infrastructure, saying:

"Shazand Petrochemical was the first petrochemical company in Iran to become operational after the eight-year Sacred Defense. The complex’s infrastructure, production units, unique products, and green spaces are among the finest in the country. Shazand has played a significant role in developing both skilled professionals and future industry leaders. In addition, its products play an important role in meeting domestic market demand and supplying international export markets."

During the ceremony, Engineer Abdi, Secretary of the Petrochemical Industry Organizational Excellence Award, and Engineer Kakavand, a member of the Award’s Scientific Committee, explained the evaluation process of the 12th edition of the award and congratulated Shazand Petrochemical on receiving the Five-Star Excellence Plaque and Trophy.

Members of the Scientific Committee also visited the industrial area and the company’s model room to become familiar with the production units and manufacturing processes of the complex.

It is noteworthy that Shazand Petrochemical participated in the Petrochemical Industry Organizational Excellence Award for the first time and successfully received the Five-Star Excellence Plaque and Trophy, an achievement that is considered highly prestigious within Iran’s petrochemical industry.
